The Brand:
Safi is a leading Halal brand of Wipro Unza (Malaysia), which consists of a unique and comprehensive range of skincare, personal care and toiletry products developed exclusively to meet the Stringent HALAL standards for women and men.
Challenge:
In tune with changing times and increasing competitor brands on the retail shelf, Safi decided to overhaul its packaging. However, as with any iconic brand, the idea was to keep the bond intact with the brand’s loyal customers while adding new ones to the fold.
Solution:
Pineapple Consulting re-designed the packaging by focusing on ingredients, which has become an important criterion for modern women to pick up any brand off the shelf. Further, colour blocking coupled with appealing visuals evoking freshness assured a strong shelf presence for the brand. And while all these design elements brought in much needed youthful appeal, the logo and its placement over the packaging was kept the same as old packaging to strengthen the sense of familiarity and brand love.
